By Air - Skybus

'Skybus', the islands' own airline provides air links to St. Mary's six days a week throughout the year with regular flights from Land's End and Newquay airports. Flights from Exeter airport are operated daily from April until September inclusive.

The journey takes just 15 minutes from Land's End.
Your flight can take in spectacular panoramic views of the Cornish coastline over Land's End and provides a dramatic glimpse of the islands on approaching St. Mary's airport.

Upon arrival you can be transported along with your luggage to 'Agapanthus' Apartment via Skybus' own mini bus or alternatively a taxi can be hired for the short journey to Porthloo.

Advanced booking on Skybus flights is essential and it would be wise to consider holiday insurance for any contingencies such as delayed departure due to inclement weather etc.
Further details including scheduled flying times and fares can be found on the Isles of Scilly Travel website link (right).

By Sea - Scillonian III

There are regular sea links to the islands throughout the season with sailings departing Penzance quay aboard the Scillonian III.

The vessel has comfortable lounge areas, a buffet, a licensed bar and souvenir shop together with a small but interesting exhibition illustrating life on the islands. The journey takes approximately 2hrs 40min and provides panoramic views of the Cornish coastline on departing Penzance and of the archipeligo on nearing the Isles of Scilly. Your approach to Scilly on a high tide bring St. Martins and Tresco into sight and if you arrive at low water, Gugh and St. Agnes come into view on the ship's port side. Either way, your arrival by sea is an enchanting start to your holiday.

Upon dis-embarking at St. Mary's quay your luggage (clearly labelled with your name and holiday address) can be transported to 'Agapanthus' Apartment by island carriers who charge a small fee for this service or a taxi can be hired for the short journey to Porthloo.

Advanced booking on Scillonian III is essential and it would be wise to consider holiday insurance for any contingencies such as delayed departure due to inclement weather etc. Further details including scheduled sailing times and fares can be found on the Isles of Scilly Travel website link (top right).
